Celebrating Gunpla’s 40th anniversary! Drawing on the technology cultivated through the “HG Series,” the “RX-78-2 Gundam” designed by Kunio Okawara is now available in G-3 colors!
■ Pursuing “beautiful poses” and “movability and proportions.” Numerous gimmicks are incorporated throughout the body to allow for natural poses.
■ The design of the First Gundam was reexamined and pushed to its limits as part of the “BEYOND GLOBAL” series.
■ The torso features forward bending and swinging movement. The neck axis also moves back and forth.
■ An inward-bending joint has been added to the base of the thighs, allowing for more human-like poses.
■ The wrists move independently, allowing for free movement of the attached shield.
■ The wrist blocks are ball-jointed and move as separate parts, allowing for powerful movements such as clenching a fist.
■ The hip joint axis swings forward and moves forward. Furthermore, the rear skirt can be deployed widely, allowing for rearward movement.
■The blocks on the sides of the chest are responsible for the movement of the part that corresponds to the shoulder blades, and have been designed to ensure that the movable axis of the shoulders is not exposed when the part opens outward.
